Should we post thus-far discovered information? Or maybe even toss in IC posts of what information one character has gathered? Or attempted to obtain, anyways, seeing as I remain uncertain who to RP at when I want to further the investigation.

That goes on the official thread, but yOu can ask questions here about things you're not clear on! Note, though, my understanding is second hand…
RP posts are fine, this is a reaction thread. Have at you

[RP post it is!] Koishe stood on the cliffside, staring down to the dark ocean waves in the early morning light. The signs of the bodies had all nearly vanished, save perhaps for a few last strips of cloth among the rocks. The armor-clad guard let out a low, uneasy sigh. With everything going on, it's easy to forget the little, more morbid cases on the island... Koishe turns away, and begins to walk on. He looked on north, where the killings were suspected to have taken place. He let his mind mull over the situation. Accusations of necromancy were at work, and whatever afflicted the bodies was most likely unnatural. It's been days since they were first found, so the trail might be cold ... Unless the killer struck again. He cringes at this. Better hurry. His step gains a bit more haste until he breaks into a half-jog, and finds his way to the library. If the killer IS missing, and the trail is cold, he would need someone able to track, or at the very least investigate for clues. He could manage a basic hunt, himself, but this could be beyond his ability. If the killer is still there, well, extra forces certainly would be of good help. Challenging unknown enemies alone rarely ended well. And if all else, this would be a good way to give work to passing, braver islanders wishing to help. Maybe they could even earn coin. Koishe laughed to himself at this. He would take out a clean page and set it on a nearby desk. Pen and quill aside, he takes a brief moment with a pencil to write out his message. Mistakes corrected, some rewording here and there... And he looks over his work. He gives an approving nod, and sets about retracing the message in ink. He allowed the page to dry before he rolls it up, and makes his way out of the library and to the tavern. The sun was properly rising now. He looked up, observing the light rays through the trees, listening to the rustle of the dew-filled leaves. It was always a strange contrast, the grimness of his work, in an otherwise peaceful morning... But that's life, and soon people will be up and about, and the day's chaos will ensue. He makes his way up onto the tavern deck, and over to the newly installed posting-board. He unfurls his page, and goes about pinning it to the board. He takes a step back to admire his work. Now to hope that half the islanders can actually read, he noted to himself with a scowl. He let out a sigh, and turned on to resume his guard rounds. That's one situation tended to, at the very least... Let's hope it bears results by the end of the week. The page, meanwhile, displayed the following in neat book-print handwriting: ------ Adventurer Aid Requested

Koishe would return some time later, grumbling. He tacks on a second bit of paper underneath the first.
------ Reward Payment is promised. -----
Koishe steps back to look over the work. There, that should keep the wife placated. He sets on again, mumbling. "No one ever asks for payment..."

Jimmy Nobody takes note of the neatly written posting, and feels a pit in his stomach. The man's face contorts as he thinks it over. "Oh, what the hell." He takes a pen and writes on one of the lines provided, legible, but not perfect like the writer of the notice. Jimmy He pulls his lips in and nods. That's his name. No last name at all. He turns, thinking to himself, hopefully others will be there... folks with skills and talents that the pudgy man didn't have.

Kellona Mekena noticed the posting, she pondered joining, but she'd have to ask permission from someone first, returning later that morning she took out a pencil, writing on a line. Kellona Mekena And off she went, to wait for the night.

[Whoop. Sad to say folks; we completely lost track of the original DM for this quest. @_@ I don't know where he/she went, which is a real pity... I'm hoping they return at some point soon to pick things up again.]
